Step by step instructions

Up next are the steps that land the Android 4.4.2 XXUDNG1 firmware on your Samsung GT-N8010.

  1. First of all, you will have to take care of this step: download Odin v3.09 from this dedicated page and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUDNG1 official firmware for Slovakia, Spain or Switzerland on the notebook.
  2. Then you will be asked to move on by unzipping each of the two packages. We recommend using either WinRar or 7Zip here. Look, among the files that have just been extracted, for this one: Odin v3.09.exe. Have it launched on the notebook.
  3. This step recommends you to start your tablet in Download Mode. In order to complete this action, we suggest pressing and simultaneously holding Home, Power and Volume Down. You’ll see a boot message in a couple of minutes; press Volume Up.
  4. Once done, be sure to have a connection established between the Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010 and notebook with the tablet’s USB cord. After using that cord, Odin will start locating the gadget. If it finds it, you’ll see a blue sign.
  5. If it doesn’t, you can redo the steps. After the plugging is successful, you will need to add the firmware file to AP / PDA.
  6. When the adding’s also over, activate this box first: F. Reset Time. A second box you should turn on is this: Auto Reboot. Re-partition must be unchecked.
  7. To continue, tap “Start“. The new and official firmware will begin a flashing phase. This should take 10-15 minutes.
  8. As soon as a “Pass” message appears on the tablet’s touchscreen and the device restarts, you’ll know that the installation is all over. If you don’t see this message, you should repeat the steps until you do.
  9. Now disconnect the devices from one another by releasing the USB cord.
  10. You have to click on Settings and then on About Tablet. The new firmware will open itself, so make sure you take full advantage of your updated device.
