  1. The first step which serves as introduction to our guide starts by telling you to download Android 4.2.2 CM10.1 Nightly ROM and GApps from here on the laptop; afterwards you have to plug the P5100 to the computer. Your task now is to copy the Android 4.2.2 CM10.1 ROM along with the Google Apps to the root directory from the tablet’s memory card.
  2. Once the task is completed, you need to round it up with step two: switch the gadget off. After checking that the device is really powered off, you have to unplug it from the laptop.
  3. The step that comes now is the third. Its request is this: boot into ClockworkMod Recovery by pressing and holding, at the same time, the buttons that say Volume Down and Power.
  4. Step four is the one to arrive now; do, for it, a data wipe and afterwards tap Power to easily opt for Flash zip from SD card.
  5. In step number five you need to select Choose zip from SD card after you’ve tapped Power.
  6. Choose the CM 10.1 Nightly ROM file by tapping Power.
  7. For the seventh step you should confirm that you want to install the custom ROM. The Google Apps will install only if you repeat these actions from the sixth step. Now that the files are on your tablet, you should do the following: tap Go Back.
  8. Lastly, step eight will ask you to choose the system restarting (it’s in the Recovery Menu). The most important thing now: wait till the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5100 reboots with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on it.
