The steps whose help is welcome for the completion of this tutorial are exposed below. They are the ones which will flash the OS on your Galaxy Tab 7.7 GT-P6800.

Important instructions

  1. Step one is here to recommend you this: download XXLQD Android 4.0.4 firmware update together with Odin tool 3.07 on your laptop; the contents of these two files will have to be extracted to the comp, then you should expect a couple of files to show up: .tar and Odin3 v3.07.exe.
  2. The second step will tell you the following: turn the Tab 7.7 P6800 off so that you can easily boot it into Download Mode by pressing and holding Home, Volume Down and Power; at the end of this you should press Volume Up, which will seal the deal and boot the tablet into the aforementioned mode. When that happens, you need to plug the gadget to your comp using the USB cord of the former.
  3. Step three will come at you with these actions: if you see an ID:COM icon become yellow and an “Added!!” message on the display of the tablet, you will need to click on PDA as soon as possible. Should the devices not connect to each other the right way, you need to install the drivers once more.
  4. If all goes well, after you click on PDA you have to move on to the fourth step: opt for the .tar file. Now check F. Reset Time and Auto Reboot.
  5. Re-partition should be left inactive. Then you will be prompted to do the following: install the Android 4.0.4 ICS firmware by clicking on Start.
  6. The tablet’s display should feature “PASS“. That’s your cue for the following operation: unplug the tablet from your laptop.
  7. The former is going to boot. Your Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6800 is now complete with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich after using the XXLQD firmware.
