Important instructions

  1. Step number one starts it off by urging you to download the Android 4.1.2 N8000ZCCMA4 and Odin tool to your computer.Galaxy-Note-10.1-GT-N8000
  2. Extract the first file and then turn the gadget off to prepare it for the next action; which is as follows: select and keep selected the buttons for Power and Volume Down. This is going to send the tablet into Download mode.
  3. Launch Odin tool on the laptop and plug the latter to the gadget. The connection is successful once ID:COM goes a lovely hue and yellow and a COM number (which is the port) comes on the screen. Afterwards you will need to opt for the files which you need to flash on the Note 10.1 N8000. Do it in the following manner:
    – be sure to tap on PDA; next: choose a file you’ll see sporting “CODE“;
    – click on “Phone“; then opt for the file that contains MODEM in the title;
    – tap on CSC and follow this up by choosing the file which has CSC in its name;
    – tap on PIT; opt for a file called .pit.
    The last three steps shouldn’t be followed if you don’t spot such files as mentioned.
  4. For step four you will have to check both the F. Reset Time and the Auto Reboot options; at the same time, if you opted for .PIT, you should check the option named Repartition.
  5. Tap on Start and have some patience till the installation ends.
  6. Step six will ask you to see to it that the gadget restarts or not. If it doesn’t, redo the steps above; if it restarts, good. The home screen will appear and you can proceed to the seventh step, which needs you to disconnect the Note 10.1 GT-N8000 from the device. You can now simply go to your tablet’s Settings and tap on About tablet to see if the official firmware is there.
